The story

This started as an autobio webcomic and just got more nonsenical along the way. So no worries if you don’t get it. All of this sequential nonsense adds up to an ongoing excercise in procrastination, passive-aggressive behaviour and creativity. Updates are at least once a week, on Wednesday.

The artwork

It’s a constant evolution. I moved from black & white to grayscale to full-colour, integrating texture. I’m not sure where it’s headed but it’s a fun experiment. If you want to try out some textures for yourself, I’m using a combination of things I’ve scanned myself and texture packs I’ve collected. Mostly from kuschelirmel-stock, Sad Monkey Design, Texture King and bittbox.

The author

Rembrand looks a lot like his bearded comicstrip counterpart, except that he loses his temper slightly less often. He lives in Ghent (Belgium) with some drawing supplies and a computer. If you pass him in the street, just remember that he looks angrier than he really is.
