All ficional, of course. Although the one about Craig David makes perfect sense in my opinion. Come on, who wants to groom and trim that every morning?
Like the title suggests, this is maybe one of the most random comics I’ve made so far. I went into automatic mode and quickly wrote down 4 beard-related pieces of nonsense and illustrated them. So it turned out more ‘fun excercise’ than ‘funny comic’.
Feel free to contribute your own beard facts in the comments, maybe I could make them into a big fact sheet or something like that.

In 1942, the record holder

suffocated during lunch
time when his soup-soaked moustache swelled up.

A braided beard is up to
20 times stronger than
any conventional rope
of the same thickness.

the Great Catalogue of Beards and Moustaches’, that is described as ‘girly’.
A plan formulated in the 16th century, to replace all ropes

A toothbrush made out of beard hair will remove 99.5% of all plaque and prevent the gum disease gingivitis.
Nice one!
Hah, I thought they were real till the 4th panel

Johnny Depp’s beard is girly. So is the beard on most paintings of Jesus.
Johnny Depp’s baby face doesn’t really lend itself for beardness I suppose. He had a descent in Pirates, didn’t he? But maybe that was glued on
Can’t imagine every seeing him with a home-grown beard, must investigate!
I *like* the ‘Craig David’. Maybe it’s because I’m a girl…?
Random facts about beards = great.
Yeah, I guess it’s one of those macho things only guys find amusing. Maybe I need to expand my material.
Glad you enjoyed the facts though.
